Trebeurden, 26 May 2005

The voyage to Trebeurden was reminiscent of many a trip on the Brittany coast – fog, swell and wind on the nose! The conditions in which you arrive at a port can quite influence your feelings about a place. Fortunately for Trebeurden by the time we were moored up and sitting eating dinner in the cockpit, the sun was shining and there was blue sky.

We had a happy time there, exploring “Pirate Island” and the big rocks, building sandcastles and decorating them with seashells, sploshing around in jelly shoes in the rockpools and watching a spectacular display of a helicopter beach rescue!
