Yet again, we stayed just one night in port, before setting off again. The port was really busy, and again we noticed many more British yachts cruising here than we saw five years ago. It is not just the British who seem more abundant, we have an impression that the harbours are generally more full. It might be an illusion as it is far harder to sneak a 42' yacht into a space where previously we only had to berth a 31' vessel. This time we ended up slotting into a gap just a few feet longer than Barrique and by morning we had two yachts rafted up outside us. I hope all these yachts aren't all heading for the Med' or it will be like a boat flavoured Campbells Condensed Soup down there. |
